The FRi-2082 is designed from the ground up for safe, attractive installations. It’s an ultra-compact two-way full-range passive system in a unique slant sided enclosure. It includes dual 8" woofers and a 1" voice coil compression driver on a constant-directivity horn. The 100° x 100° horn pattern allows broad coverage for near field applications. Dual 8" woofers are frequency shades to avoid mid-band lobing. The FRi-2082 uses EV’s exclusive RMD™ (Ring Mode Decoupling) to provide outstanding vocal clarity and intelligibility in a cost-effective two-way system.
The FRi-2082 system is finished in black acrylic with 13-ply birch plywood and has a black powder-coated metal grille. The versatile, compact enclosure features a low profile cabinet design with integral suspension points and a U-bracket (included) to allow horizontal or vertical mounting. A unique asymmetrical cross section facilitates both ceiling and wall mounting. Five year warranty.
