Description:
The Audio/Video Sales Representative develops and expands the customer base for the purchase and rental of the company's
audio, video, surveillance and telecommunications components and systems.
The AV Sales Representative initially engages potential clients, helps determine their needs and outlines the project design.
Most work is performed away from the company's offices.

Required Skills:
Applies technical knowledge and expertise to design initial project specifications and identify services and products to be purchased.
Maintains a high level of product knowledge and researches new products and systems in order to offer start-of-the art A/V and communications solutions to satisfy client demands.
Mediates solutions to problems arising with installation and service.
May set up equipment for rental clients and instruct them on its proper use.
Frequently using hands to manipulate cable, devices and hardware.
Regularly lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 10 lbs. and sometimes up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling more than 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
Advanced verbal and visual presentation skills required.
Able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically.
Regularly applies mathematic, geometric and algebraic principles to solve problems.
Able to organize work effectively in order to meet deadlines.

Computer Programs:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. AutoCAD a plus.
|
Education:
Associates Degree in business, marketing or a related field or 4 years of experience in Audio and Video sales
and 3 years of marketing and sales experience with similar products and services.
Applicant must have thorough knowledge of the audio and video industries.
