Description:
The JCATS Database Programmer must have the technical expertise to validate the JCATS model.
The JCATS Database programmer is responsible for JCATS model documentation which is maintained in Microsoft Word
and Excel and maintaining specific JCATS data sets in JCATS proprietary format including updating JCATS PH/PK tables.
The JCATS database programmer will be responsible for testing, documentation, and writing operating instructions for all work,
performing programming analysis such as investigating the feasibility of developing alternate programs,
assisting users in defining needs and participating on an ECP and user team working on large and complicated programs.

Security Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years specific and related experience inclusive of the following:
- Two (2) years experience in programming skills in two of the following computer languages: (1) FORTRAN, (2) C Novell, (3) LOTUS, (4) Microsoft, (5) Internet and (6) Intranet.
- Two (2) years experience in war-gaming program languages, theory, development and applications.
- Two (2) years experience in war gaming methodology including experience in force structure organization, modeling parameters, and computer code.
- Two (2) years experience in simulation software code for JTLS, JCATS, TACSIM, or any other the current Service JTC models - CBS, AWSIM, RESA/ENWGS, and MTWS.

Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in any of the following academic fields:
Information Systems Management; Computer Systems Analysis; Operations Research/System Analysis.
