Bird Airstrike Model (BAM)

This Loyola supported Bird Airstrike Model (BAM) Application uses information from the Bird Airstrike Model (BAM) Application database (Oracle 8i) for bird strike historical information, over which is layered the airspace routes (Oracle Spatial) to determine where the high probability areas are for birds striking aircraft flying on training missions. The Bird Airstrike Model (BAM) Application calculates web based maps on temporal, species, and flight routes and can be combined with outside data sources.
