Network Services

Loyola has a group of Network Services professionals supporting the Defense Enterprise Computing Center Detachment (DECCD) Norfolk, Virginia with on-site support services of their network.

Loyola's Network Services personnel perform desktop and network support functions including network design, implementation, maintenance, load balancing, data archiving, disaster planning and recovery, network operating and printing services, E-mail services, intranet environments, network operating system conversion, network topology conversion, and firewall management for a customer base of over 15,000 users, seven days a week. The systems at DECCD Norfolk include desktop microcomputers, minicomputers, file, print and application servers, routers, switches, and bridges encompassing diverse computer hardware and software on a variety of systems.
