How do I get TILE BOND off my hands?

If the TILE BOND™ adhesive has not cured or hardened, use acetone. If the adhesive has hardened, there is no solvent that will remove it. It will not harm your skin and will wear off in several days. To remove cured TILE BOND™ from skin, use a pumice stone (available at most drug stores) and warm, soapy water. Then apply petroleum jelly.

Is TILE BOND referenced by building or country codes?

Yes, for additional information, see Code Approvals.

What is the best way to store TILE BOND?

Store TILE BOND™ at 75° F (24° C) in a clean dry area. DO NOT STORE AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 120° F (49° C). Avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

What is the proper way to dispose of TILE BOND?

Since local regulations vary, it is best to contact your local waste disposal facility to inquire about disposal of pressurized aerosol canisters. In many areas, the TILE BOND™ canister (when de-pressurized and completely emptied of chemical contents) can be discarded in a dumpster. Dow Chemical manufacturing facilities are typically not licensed to receive hazardous waste and therefore cannot take back used cans. If you have additional questions, call Dow at 1-888-868-1183.
