Loyola Enterprises was selected to receive Northrop Grumman‘s 2011 World Class Team Supplier Award. This award is presented to those suppliers who have consistently demonstrated outstanding achievements and support of Northrop Grumman programs. President and CEO Ben Loyola received the award on behalf of the company on December 8 at a luncheon in Arlington, Virginia.

“We are proud to receive this honor from Northrop Grumman,” said Loyola. “It reflects our company‘s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and the care and attention our people bring to their jobs every day.”

Northrop Grumman developed its Supplier of the Year Award program to recognize the critical role that its suppliers play in the delivery of high-performance products and services that the company produces and provides to its U.S. and international customers. The program is an outgrowth of the company's strategic sourcing initiative, which began in 2003 as a way for the company to build stronger long-term relationships with its suppliers.

Northrop Grumman suppliers number over 10,000 and receive a quarterly score on criteria of quality, on-time delivery and participation in affordability initiatives. To be considered for a Supplier of the Year award, a company must demonstrate consistently superior performance in delivering products and services to Northrop Grumman.

Northrop Grumman Corporation is a leading global security company whose 120,000 employees provide innovative systems, products, and solutions in aerospace, electronics, information systems and technical services to government and commercial customers worldwide.

“Being recognized as a ‘World Class Team Supplier’ helps us leverage our business with other Northrop Grumman Units which may have a need,” added Loyola. “Professionalism, Teamwork and Efficiency are a large part of our corporate culture to continuously improve our technical and business operations and relationships with Northrop Grumman and their customers.”

Since 1991, Loyola has developed a strong, positive reputation for being a responsive, high quality solution provider for IT services and Modeling and Simulation. This support continues today, with ongoing support contracts with many Government organizations where Loyola personnel provide worldwide IT support for training and development of databases that support large simulation federations and gaming environments.
